What to do when your baby is fussy

1 min read
The baby cannot talk but only cry. So do not get upset when the baby is crying. They are just talking to you.
Check and see if they need a diaper change.
Check and see if they are hungry.
Check to see if they are too hot or too cold.
If the baby is gassy and spitting up, maybe the baby needs to be burped.
Gassy babies may be related to the foods they are eating.
Are they breastfeeding or bottle feeding?
If breast fed, mom should try to cut out gassy foods in her diet too.
Avoid foods that are spicy, cabbage, broccoli, beans.
Colic drops, probiotic drops do help very fussy gassy babies.
If formula fed, maybe they need to speak to their pediatrician about changing the formula to one that is for colicky babies like Similac Sensitive or Enfamil Gentlease.
