What is a lipoma?

1 min read
A lipoma is a fatty mass that can form in almost any area of the body.
These masses can cause a bulge, pain, or discomfort as they grow.
General surgeons can perform an operation to remove a lipoma.
An incision is made over the mass and the mass is removed through the opening in the skin. The skin is closed with stitches or surgical glue.
